What's in store
Greater Đerdap is one continuous journey east, not a set of radial trips. Each evening the group sleeps in a new place and next morning continues along the Danube. History keeps changing scale here: from prehistoric culture and the Roman frontier to Ottoman fortresses and the old cellars of the Negotin Krajina. Five days, eight people, one river.
- ▸Move along the Danube for five days without once returning to Belgrade between stages
- ▸See the Iron Gates as one region — both natural and historical
- ▸Give day three to one strong experience: a route above the river or a boat trip
- ▸Trace several eras through fortresses, archaeology and old towns
- ▸Finish among natural stone arches and the wine villages of the Krajina

Frequently asked
Why aren't meals and tickets included?
On a five-day route guests pick venues and paid activities to their taste. The separate costs are listed in advance so the tour price isn't artificially low.
Will there be both the Ploče trail and the Kazan boat trip?
No. One option is chosen for the active day, based on the weather and the group's readiness.
Do we sleep somewhere new every night?
The route is linear, so accommodation changes along the way. Four nights are included in total.
Is the trip suitable for teenagers?
Yes, from 14, if the teenager is ready for a full programme and transfers.
Can I travel on my own?
Yes. Sharing is offered only by consent; a single room is calculated in advance at the actual difference.
Do I need big luggage?
Better a compact suitcase or travel bag and a small day pack.
